Sheetz Is Hiring 500 Employees in Pennsylvania
The chain will host hiring events with on-the-spot interviews at each of its 315 Pennsylvania locations on Wednesday, March 25.
Sheetz has announced that it will be hiring 1,540 employees – 500 of whom the company says will be across Pennsylvania.
The gas station and convenience store chain will be hosting hiring events with on-the-spot interviews at each of its 315 Pennsylvania locations on Wednesday, March 25 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The interviews are part of a broader hiring effort taking place at all of its more than 810 locations across seven states.
In a press release, the company said it is looking to hire for a range of roles, including store team members, who prepare food in the kitchen and provide customer service at the register; supervisors, who will prioritize and delegate tasks; and assistant managers, who will lead and manage day-to-day store operations in the manager’s absence.
Candidates interested in attending a hiring event will need to apply for a store position online before arriving. Once inside the store, individuals can scan the QR code provided by Sheetz to sign in and then check in at the cash register. Once checked in, candidates may enjoy a complimentary soda and take a seat while awaiting their interview.
“Sheetz is looking for people who bring energy and thrive in fast-paced environments, where no two shifts are the same. Ideal candidates tackle challenges head-on, stay positive during busy times, and genuinely care about their team, customers, and community,” the press release reads.
The closest Sheetz locations to Downtown include Store 476 on Babcock Boulevard in Ross, Store 678 on William Flynn Highway in Glenshaw and Store 515 on Library Road in Bethel Park.
Prospective employees can learn more about other hiring events happening in their area throughout the year by visiting Sheetz’s Facebook page or company website.
