Known for its affordability, Pittsburgh has many distinct neighborhoods, with the cost of housing varying in each one. As of 2024, the median listing price for a home in Pittsburgh was $244,000, according to Realtor.com.

But, with the hot spring home buying and selling season here, we wondered what spending $350,000 in the region would get you. Because housing in Pittsburgh’s communities is so diverse, spending the same amount in different areas can get you a property of many different sizes and conditions.

From cottage-style to Victorian homes, we gathered five different properties in and around the Steel City that can be purchased for around $350,000.
