The video was created as part of a 45 minute “Wild After Dark” special airing at 11 p.m. on June 30 on Nat Geo Wild Channel.
The series of short films were shot at WPXI's commercial studios. All of the pups are from Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgher Andy Kelemen directed the videos. “We wanted to find the perfect combination of off-the-wall weird with a heavy dose of cuteness,” he says.
