There’s only been one snow-covered Halloween in the past 50 years, and if you were a kid in the 1990s, you likely remember it.

On Oct. 31, 1993, snow covered the ground for Halloween, which fell on a Sunday.

Twenty Halloweens in the past 50 years have been rainy, and two had snowflakes fall, but only one was a heavy snowfall.

That Halloween was also the coldest Halloween on record, with temperatures reaching 35 degrees.

The temperature for this Halloween is forecast to be 72 degrees and cloudy in the evening.
