Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Roger, a High-Energy Mixed Breed
Make arrangements to meet him at Animal Friends.
Breed: Mixed Breed Medium
Sex: Male
Age: 3 years old
Weight: 56 lbs.
Meet Roger!
Roger came to us as a surrender after being found as a stray. He is a high-energy, exuberant dog who loves long walks, playing with his favorite toys and relaxing with his people. While at Animal Friends, Roger has been working with staff and volunteers on basic manners, as well as working one-on-one with a dedicated staff member as part of our Project Dog Program! Roger would like to be the only animal in the home, since he isn’t too fond of feline friends or other dogs. He could also live with children aged 13 years and up.
Interested? Fill out an application: https://bit.ly/4iek1hJ. All of our animals are altered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines before being made available for adoption.
Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our animals in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
