Meet Namaste!

This handsome 6-year-old boy has spent the last several years here at Animal Friends and is counting down the minutes until he finds his forever home. He loves being outside on walks and enjoys enrichment like sniffle mats and ripping up egg cartons full of treats. Our behavior team has done a lot of positive reinforcement training with him here in the shelter and he will benefit from continued training in his new home. Namaste can go to an adult-only home and wants to be the king of his castle and your only pet to soak up all your attention for himself!

This 45-pound boy is also a part of our Foster-To-Adopt program, which means for 4 weeks our trainers here at Animal Friends will work with you and Namaste on his behavior and positive reinforcement training to facilitate a gentle transition into his new home. He is the perfect example of our mission: to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals.

All of our animals are altered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines before being made available for adoption.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our animals in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
