Meet Blitzen!

On Donner, On Blitzen! Blitzen came to us as an owner surrender. He is six years old and loves to go on long walks in the woods during his time here. Once he is comfortable in your presence, he does not mind getting pets and attention from those around him. Blitzen would not be able to live in communal locations, and he would prefer not to have another dog in the home with him. He is an independent boy who would just prefer to be by himself with his humans. Blitzen would also thrive in a home with only adults, and no children in the home.

Blitzen is just one of the many pets whose adoption donation is waived! From December 20th to December 31st, we are introducing our New Year’s “Reverse” Rescue! In partnership with Driveway Subaru of Moon Township and Subaru Loves Pets, all of our adoptable animals donation request will be waived.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our animals in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
