Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Heart, a Holland Lop Rabbit

Make arrangements to meet her at Animal Friends.

Heart 2

Breed: Holland Lop
Sex: Female
Age: 2 years old
Weight: 5.4 pounds

Meet Heart!

Heart is a beautiful two-year-old Holland Lop that came to us as a transfer from a partner organization. She is a sweet and mellow girl who loves to be petted and get daily massages, who wouldn’t want that? She is very playful and may give you a binky or two to show you how happy she is.

She currently resides in a foster home where she’s more comfortable. Heart is waiting to be spayed since she recently gave birth to a litter of kits and needs time to heal. We didn’t want this sweet girl to miss out on finding her new home while she waits — so she will be able to go home as a foster-to-adopt!

Due to not being altered yet, Heart would not be able to live with another rabbit until two weeks post spay which would be the around the end of March.
