Pittsburgh Pet of the Week: Crock, a Quiet Domestic Shorthair

Make arrangements to meet him at Animal Friends.

Crock

Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Sex: Male
Age: 5 years old
Weight: 10.8 pounds

Meet Crock!

Say hello to Crock! Crock was part of a mass surrender of roughly 55 cats in July of last year. These cats in general became known as our ‘C-Cats’ as they all were given names starting with the letter ‘C’. Upon their admittance, many of these cats were very frightened and needed extra time compared to our typical admits adjusting before they were able to begin opening up. It is important to note, however, that although we have seen some progress, they are still considered rather shy and would likely do best in homes with older children or adults only.

Crock is a quiet guy, who loves hanging out watching the birds fly past the window. He is food motivated and would do well with another cat in his future home. Does Crock sound like the perfect companion for you?
