Meet Acorn!

Just like the mighty oak he’s named for, Acorn has proven that from small (and sometimes rough) beginnings, great things can grow. This sweet boy was found abandoned and in need of urgent care—but thanks to some heroic teamwork between local police, Blue Pearl, and Animal Friends, Acorn got his second chance at life.

After some TLC in foster care, he’s blossomed into a friendly, curious pup full of energy and heart. Acorn loves to play, explore, and soak up attention from his favorite humans. He’d do best with children six and older and could live with another dog after a successful meet and greet. We’re not sure how he feels about cats—but this little nut might just be too spirited for feline friends. Interested in this adorable pup? Fill out an application: https://ow.ly/zisO50VVXlW. All of our animals are altered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines before being made available for adoption.

Please read our adoption guidelines and start your application before coming to meet one of our animals in person. A typical adoption can take up to an hour. Please visit at least one hour before closing if you plan to adopt that day.
