Nearly 11 years young, Inez is living proof that age is just a number. Available for adoption through Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, this sweet senior may have a touch of gray on her muzzle, but her heart — and her energy — are as vibrant as ever.

Inez was found as a stray, yet she greets each day with unwavering optimism. From the moment she arrived in care, she’s charmed everyone with her resilience and joyful spirit. She still bursts into happy zoomies, delights in chasing a ball, and lights up when her favorite rope toy appears. Treats? Happily accepted. Playtime? Count her in. Cuddle time? Her absolute favorite.

This smart, affectionate girl has lovely house manners and is comfortable resting in a crate. She’s currently thriving in a foster home, where she has proven to be a devoted and easygoing companion. Inez adores people and has done wonderfully meeting adults, children, and even babies. Sit down for a moment, and she’ll gently nudge her way closer, perfectly content to spend the afternoon soaking up affection by your side.

Inez would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can enjoy being the center of attention. She’s been working diligently on her leash skills and has made impressive progress walking calmly past other dogs and tuning out distractions.
