Pirates Outfielder Andrew McCutchen and Wife Maria Welcome Fifth Baby
Just in time for the holidays, Suede McCutchen was born over the weekend.

Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen and his wife, Maria, received an early Christmas present this week — a healthy baby boy.
Delivered by Dr. Ron Cypher, Suede McCutchen was born Sunday, Dec. 21 at AHN Wexford Hospital, according to a press release from Allegheny Health Network.

Pittsburgh Magazine’s 2023 Pittsburgher of the Year, McCutchen and Maria are also parents to sons Steel and Armani and daughters Avé and Italia.
A favorite among Pirates fans, McCutchen played with the team from 2009 to 2017. He returned to Pittsburgh in 2023 and has played through the 2025 season.
