Online Education at Edinboro University Nationally Ranked
The university landed in the top 10 schools for disabled students seeking an online education.
Onlineschoolscenter.com, an online publication that evaluates online learning, has named Edinboro University sixth out of 10 in a feature that is meant to help students with disabilities learn more about their options for an online education.
“Navigating an Online Education for Students with Disabilities,” written by higher-education researcher Kenneth Williams, discusses accommodations provided by different schools and much more.
“Edinboro University has worked for many years to provide access to excellent education through our quality online offerings,” says Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Michael Hannan.
Web-based programs and courses for graduate and undergraduate students deliver flexible learning, and this has clear advantages for students who, because of a disability, might not be able to come to campus regularly. We pride ourselves on the strength of our online programs and are thrilled that their benefits for several different student populations are being recognized.”
