Visit Steelers Country While You’re In Town for the Draft
The “official fan destination” will feature a wide range of activities for every Steelers fan.
For folks planning on braving the crowds to head down to the 2026 NFL Draft, there will be no shortage of things to do. From snacking on selections from local restaurants to testing your own football skills with the Field Goal Challenge, organizers say there will be something for every type of Steelers fan.
At the center of all the action will be Steelers Country, which the team is calling its “official fan destination” for the three-day festival taking place April 23-25.
Steelers Country will be a 12,000 square-foot interactive space located in the heart of Point State Park. The destination will celebrate the traditions of Steelers Nation while creating a centralized gathering place for fans to connect, engage and experience Draft weekend together, officials say.
“With our deep football roots and central location, we know fans from across the league will flock to Pittsburgh for this year’s Draft,” Dan Rooney, vice president of strategy for the Pittsburgh Steelers, says in a statement. “We also know Steelers Nation will be out in full force, so we wanted to create a dedicated place for our fans — some of the most passionate in all of sports — to gather, celebrate our traditions and enjoy a memorable Draft experience together.”
In Steelers Country, fans will find a global Steelers-themed pop-up bar with beverages paying homage to the numerous Steelers bars around the world; a 1970s-inspired “immersive fan cave,” which recreates the look and feel of a classic Pittsburgh basement; and a display featuring large replicas of the team’s six Superbowl rings.
There will also be an art piece inspired by the famed Terrible Towel, yard games and the opportunity to participate in Q&A sessions with previous and current players.
A Lombardi Trophy exhibit will also be on view across from Steelers Country at Point State Park.
A formal ribbon cutting ceremony for Steelers Country will be held on April 22. Officials note that hours are subject to change, but plan for the space to be open Thursday, April 23 and Friday, April 24 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
