No matter where you live in the United States, chances are you’ve listened to an iHeartMedia station. Reaching 9 out of 10 Americans every month, iHeartMedia says it’s the No. 1 audio company in the nation, providing audio, podcast, digital, social, influencer, data and event marketing solutions and opportunities to brands across the country.

Playing a significant part in the company’s success locally is Bobbie Loesch, Market President of iHeartMedia’s six-station cluster in Pittsburgh, which encompasses DVE, KISS, The X, 3WS, BIG 104.7 and Fox Sports 970.

Loesch has been with the company for 21 years, entering the company in 2004 as an account executive, then moving into leadership roles, and accepting the position to lead the market sales and programming team in November 2024.

When it comes to being a business leader, Loesch, a member of North Way Christian Community Church and the wife of WPXI news anchor Gordon Loesch, says she leans on her faith to guide her.

“When it comes to the growth of our company, the growth of each individual colleague, and the growth of business partners, approaching business with a heart for serving others provides me with self-awareness, compassion and respect for others, fills me with courage, resilience, learning agility, vision, problem-solving skills and gratitude,” she says. “These are all the key components I need to tap into each day, when the company, my colleagues and partners are facing challenges.”

Because she has worn so many hats within the company — including as an account executive, a local sales manager, a national sales manager, a new business manager, a digital sales manager, a sponsorship and events manager and as the vice president of sales — Loesch has extensive marketing and leadership experience in the industry.

The Canonsburg resident’s advice to other women making their way in business is to lean into learning and to become a student of their industry and the needs of their customers — while also making sure to be an attentive listener who offers back the best advice and solutions.

“People don’t necessarily enjoy or benefit from being with someone who’s the ‘smartest person in the room,’ but they can benefit from the person who listens and offers the most creative, thoughtful solutions,” she says.
