If, like Aaron Burr, you’re “willing to wait for it,” you could score last-minute “Hamilton” tickets for next to nothing.

The hit Broadway musical begins its third Pittsburgh run this Wednesday night, and a limited number of seats for each performance will be sold for $10 each via an online lottery. Fans can enter the “#HAM4HAM” lottery — so named because Alexander Hamilton appears on the $10 bill — via the LuckySeat website or the official “Hamilton” app.

Lottery entries are currently available for the second week of “Hamilton” performances at the Benedum Center and will be accepted through Thursday; winners will be notified via email and push notification on Thursday afternoon and can pick up tickets at Will Call two hours before showtime. (Lottery tickets cannot be resold or transferred.)

“Hamilton” made its Pittsburgh debut in 2019, drawing packed crowds to the Benedum. The show’s National Tour next rolled through the city in 2022. The ticket lottery has been in place for all of the show’s Pittsburgh appearances; while the location of the lottery tickets has not yet been confirmed, some past lottery winners did receive tickets in the first few rows of the auditorium.

Full information and entry instructions can be found on the “Hamilton” website. The lottery is open to anyone 18 years of age and older; fans can only enter once per week of the show’s run. “Hamilton” continues at the Benedum through Sept. 29.
