The day starts early and ends late for Brian Urban as he spends much of his time helping others in various ways. He just took a new job, where he helps create new partnerships to reduce medication errors for pediatric patients with complex issues.

In addition, he is a graduate assistant professor and researcher at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire while earning two additional degrees at other institutions. He also is running a nonprofit organization known as Little Lake Farm; its sole purpose is to produce goods and eggs from free-range chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese for donation to those in need of quality nutrition.

Over the past year, he has donated more than 5,000 eggs and more than 200 pounds of produce to the City Mission in Washington, Pennsylvania, feeding more than 80 families a month.

“We all have a responsibility to one another,” he says. “If we took care of each other a little better, things would be easier.”
