“Inclusion, diversity. That’s my life. I live it every day and it’s extremely important to me. I hope I can continue to be a catalyst for change. ”
Patriece Thompson
Community & Citizenship Manager, Turner Construction Co.
Patriece Thompson is passionate about advocating for others.
Since earning her master’s in business administration from Point Park University in 2015, she is proud to advocate for diversity as being one of the few Black women in the construction industry.
“Being a representation for someone who looks like me who might not think working in these fields was possible is what keeps me going.”

Among her community work, she is an ally and board member for the Three Rivers Business Alliance, vice chair of Life’sWork of Western Pennsylvania and works with Reimagine Reentry and the Governor’s Advisory Commission on African American Affairs.
“I always want to make sure everyone I come across knows how important they are to me,” she says.
