“While I have these dreams to make an impact on the way the whole world operates, the most important impact I can make is here in my community.”

Founder and CEO, Listen, Lucy and The Corcoran Collective

Since founding the mental health organization Listen, Lucy in 2013, Jordan Corcoran has shared her mental health journey with tens of thousands of people across the country.

Corcoran’s presentations — based on lived experiences and characterized by her signature humor — work to end the stigma that prevents many from seeking help.

When the pandemic halted her outreach in 2021, Corcoran launched The Corcoran Collective, a public relations firm designed to help other business owners navigate the “roller coaster of being an entrepreneur.”

For the North Hills graduate, supporting local businesses and advocating for mental health policies at nearby schools and hospitals are top priorities. “When I was 19, the idea of accepting help or admitting out loud that I was struggling mentally didn’t feel like an option because of the stigma,” she says.

“Once I started making my way into recovery, I knew I needed to create a community where I could share my story and help people.”
