2023 40 Under 40 Honoree: Jason Antin (37)
“It’s important to not only be an accomplished professional but an accomplished human being.”
Jason Antin
Partner, Dentons Cohen & Grigsby P.C.
The concept of “see a need, fill a need” is what helps drive Jason Antin.
Licensed to practice law in three states, Antin leads real estate transaction teams across the country, serves as a member of his firm’s PAC, mentors young lawyers and volunteers his services pro bono.
“People have an obligation to give back to society,” he says. “We should leave the world a better place than we found it.”
Antin represented, pro bono, the Tree of Life synagogue in Squirrel Hill in negotiating a real estate deal that will allow the site to be redeveloped into a campus of anti-hate.
As part of his work, he helped stop the shutdown of a state hospital serving the elderly who are developmentally disabled. “It’s really important to help those who can’t help themselves and to protect society’s most vulnerable people,” he says.
