It’s no question that the world was built for the most able bodied among us; Greg Pollock wants to change that.

Born Deaf, Pollock says that he wants himself — and every other person with a disability — to have the same experience in life as everyone else.

“Everything I do, I do because I saw an opportunity to improve an experience,” he says. “I wanted to be a part of that difference.”

Pollock carries these ideals into both his career at the Communication Service for the Deaf, where he works with Fortune 500 companies to hire Deaf people to communicate directly with Deaf and hard-of-hearing customers, and in his efforts on the board of trustees for the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf and the Epilepsy Association of Western Central Pennsylvania, along with many other organizations.

“We need to have diversity everywhere,” he says.
