Dontae Comans knows that little gestures can go a long way.

The mayor of Wilkinsburg and a Network Enablement Lead for SAP Ariba, Comans is a leader who always champions for those around him.

“I try to get the best results for the people that need me,” he says. In his role at SAP, he works with the Black Employee Network to increase diversity within his company.

As mayor, Comans collaborates with the Wilkinsburg Chamber of Commerce, Wilkinsburg Public Library and local nonprofits while organizing community events and festivals, clean up initiatives and more.

He also is working toward developing a housing community and building a community resource center. “I do feel like the future is here,” he says. “We have to prepare for our kids to be in the business we are now.”
