Pittsburgh Cares
Youth Volunteering at Pittsburgh Cares
Youth are our future! It’s our aim to encourage young people through volunteerism, leadership development, and civic engagement so that they become involved, well-rounded citizens contributing to our communities in their futures.
Pittsburgh Cares’ Youth & Families programming works with youth ages Pre-K to 12th grade from not only Pittsburgh, but all over Southwestern Pennsylvania. As we emerge out of the Covid-19 pandemic, we will be offering a greater amount of programming in this space.
Lead with Experience
Pittsburgh Cares’ Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a vibrant and exciting volunteer program for anyone over the age of 55 with opportunities in Allegheny, Beaver, and Butler counties. It is a place for individuals to use the skills and knowledge they have gained throughout their lifetime and careers to make a positive and lasting impact on their communities. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities (both in-person and virtual!) to engage with other like-minded people, participate in social events, and have fun all while giving back!
