Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh
Welcome Back, We’ve Missed You!
Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is excited to begin welcoming our fantastic volunteers back into our spaces! We’ve made a few changes in our approach to volunteerism at CLP and think these changes will lead to even more meaningful volunteer experiences. All volunteer activities will now be project-based.
Please note: We expect that volunteer interest will outpace the amount of available volunteer opportunities. We appreciate your patience as we bring back this important service and encourage you to check back for more upcoming opportunities. We look forward to engaging with you in new ways!
We can’t do what we do without you! Join the hundreds of volunteers who give their time and talent to support Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh each year.
Volunteers impact literacy and learning at the Library in so many ways:
- Facilitating global language classes
- Tutoring and providing homework help
- Mentoring teens about the arts and technology
- Promoting library programs and services
- Writing and editing resumes
- Teaching computer skills
- Helping with special events
- Advocating and fundraising
- Leading book discussions
