Individual Volunteerism

Volunteers are a vital asset at Sisters Place in helping us to realize our mission; to faithfully provides opportunities for families and individuals to overcome poverty and homelessness through empowerment, housing, wellness, personal and professional advancement services. Volunteers at Sisters Place complete an application, phone interview, background clearances and a confidentiality statement.

Group, Business and Corporate Volunteerism

Sisters Place is very grateful for the support that we receive from groups, businesses and corporations – through your generosity we can do more and help more. We have many ways to partner together including event sponsorship, programming and operations grants, and marketing underwriting opportunities.

Day of Giving

If your group, business or corporation hosts a Day of Giving for your members or employees we would love for you to choose Sisters Place. There are many ongoing organizational, clerical, office and maintenance project to be done that help to support our services and programs.

Special Events

Consider attending, sponsoring or volunteering at one of our annual events – or do all three! We offer three opportunities each year.

Build Your Own Fundraiser

Having a dinner party, event or other activity where you would like to add a charitable beneficiary? Chose Sisters Place and we will be happy to provide you with materials and our logo to share. All proposed events/activities must be reviewed and approved in advance.
