Service with a Smile, For Your Smile

Atlas Dental serves Pittsburgh with state-of-the-art services and a friendly environment.

The key to self-confidence is often found in a beautiful and healthy smile. At Atlas Dental Specialists, Drs. Nicholas and Mara Mangini and their associates will work with you to make your smile everything you want it to be, boosting both your confidence, and more importantly, your quality of life.

For the past 25 years, family-owned Atlas Dental Specialists has served downtown Pittsburgh with state-of-the-art services and a friendly environment. The office is the first and only in downtown Pittsburgh to use CEREC technology, allowing the doctors to offer beautiful same-day all-ceramic crowns for patients. The office also offers tooth colored restorations, tooth whitening, Invisalign, dental implant placement and restoration, bridges, root canals, cleanings and much more.

As prosthodontists, Drs. Nicholas and Mara Mangini are specialists in the restoration and replacement of missing teeth. If you hide your smile because you have a missing tooth or teeth, or wear an uncomfortable or ill-fitting denture, dental implants may be the option for you. Implants can be used to replace a single tooth, several teeth or all of your teeth. They provide a natural looking solution to missing teeth that can last a lifetime.

Many dentists surgically place dental implants, but only prosthodontists are recognized by the American Dental Association as specialists in the replacement of missing teeth. The team at Atlas Dental Specialists utilizes a 3-D CT scan of your jawbones to evaluate the quantity and anatomy of available bone as well as the condition of the tooth/teeth to be replaced (if present). This 3-D scan allows the doctors to plan all aspects of your surgery digitally to ensure your implant is placed with exacting precision.

Once your dental implant is in place and has healed adequately, it is ready for restoration. For a single tooth replacement, the doctors will obtain a digital scan of your teeth and then custom design and fabricate your permanent crown. For multiple implants or full mouth cases, building your new smile begins with a dental impression.

Whether you are missing a tooth or teeth or are simply looking for a new home to receive your dental care, Atlas Dental Specialists can meet all your dental needs all in one convenient location.
