Leanne Ford’s expertise is officially available to the masses.

The star, alongside her brother, Steve Ford, of HGTV’s “Restored by the Fords” recently partnered with PPG Paints to create a paint color guide, available now at The Home Depot. The curated collection includes 15 colors, all of which can be mixed and matched together. Ford says her goal for the palette was to help homeowners make the sometimes difficult decision of which paint to use on their walls a little bit easier.

“I wanted to focus on usable, effortless hues that anybody can incorporate into their home, and the colors that I selected for this guide from PPG’s new color center all live well together,” she says. “No matter how you mix, match or layer them, you can create a space that draws inspiration from my designs and is also a reflection of your personality.”

Ford organized some of her favorite color combinations into three categories: Refined Casual, Soft and Subtle, and Clean and Inviting.

Refined Casual pairs PPG’s Delicate White with its Nevergreen and Bold Brandy colors; Nevergreen looks like a deep jungle green, while Bold Brandy is a deep brown/gray with purple undertones. This palette is meant to evoke the same feelings one experiences when out in nature.

The Soft and Subtle palette is designed to be delicate and refined, yet bold. It features Ford’s favorite shade of white, Pure White, along with Black Flame, a cool black with royal blue undertones, and Suntan, a muted orange with copper hues. Ford also encourages homeowners to play with different textures when using this palette, including using featuring woven baskets or unfinished pottery as part of the decor.

For a modern, yet relaxed aesthetic, Ford recommends her Clean and Inviting Palette. The palette uses Willow Springs, a pale, gray white with a mahogany undertone, and Gibraltar Gray, a warm mulberry gray with royal blue shades, with Romeo —a sandy pink— as an accent color. This palette is especially pleasing in kitchens when paired with marble countertops and natural wood, according to Ford.

Ford adds the palette guide is easy to use and she includes examples of how to mix and match colors in an aesthetically-pleasing way. Each palette has a photo to go along with it to show what the application of the colors look like in an actual room.

“The colors in this collection provide homeowners with so many easy, harmonious combinations to emulate the feelings they crave within their space,” says Dee Schlotter, PPG’s senior color marketing manager.

The paint guide isn’t the only project Ford has in the works. The new mom, who gave birth to a daughter, Ever, in March, also is starring in two new HGTV shows.

“Rock the Block,” which premieres in October, is a competition series in which four HGTV designers have four weeks and a budget of $175,000 to turn four similar-looking homes in the Greater Los Angeles area into unique properties.

In “A Very Brady Renovation,” Ford and her brother, along with other HGTV stars, plus six original members of the cast, will work to return the iconic Brady home to its original glory. By the end of the project, the house will look exactly as it did when the sitcom aired. The first episode debuted on Monday.

As if the Ford siblings weren’t busy enough already, they also have written a book together, entitled “Work in Progress: Unconventional Thoughts on Designing an Extraordinary Life.” The book is set to be released on Oct. 29.
