Your Chance to Taste 250+ Premium Whiskeys & Fine Spirits

Pittsburgh Magazine's 2019 Whiskey & Fine Spirits Festival on Oct. 23 will feature more than 250 spirit tastings and exclusive product sampling -- all in an exciting new event space.

This is so much more than a shot and a beer.

Pittsburgh Magazine is the new organizer of the 2019 Whiskey and Fine Spirits Festival, set for Oct. 23 at the Rivers Casino Event Center.

“Given Pittsburgh Magazine’s broad strengths in media, marketing and events, we are well suited to rejuvenate this important event. Consumers have shown a heightened interest in spirits, and Pittsburgh is no exception,” says Betsy Benson, Pittsburgh Magazine Publisher & Vice President.

Benson says this year's festival will incorporate new ideas, including a location, and will once again feature more than 250 spirit tastings and exclusive product sampling.

“Our mission will be to host a fun, informative experience for both aficionados and more casual spirits fans.”

Guests can experience the festival two ways. A VIP exclusive tasting grants ticket holders early access to the festival from 5 - 6:30 p.m. and a voucher for $10 off a $30 purchase at the on-site Fine Wine & Good Spirits store. VIP guests are invited to continue their experience during the Grand Tasting from 6:30 - 9 p.m.

The Grand Tasting will feature distilled spirits from around the world including whiskey, scotch, bourbon, tequila, gin, rum and vodka. Guests can speak with industry representatives, experience interactive lounges and enjoy bites prepared by the Rivers Casino culinary team.

Ticket Prices:

  • VIP Tasting: $135
  • Grand Tasting: $95

Early-bird discounted tickets are available here through Aug. 31. Tickets can also be purchased at the door on the night of the event.
