Programs listed below are part of cooperative effort of Citiparks, Pittsburgh Pirates and Boys and Girls Club of Western Pa. Programs offer athletic and educational opportunities in city neighborhoods; include baseball, softball, DekHockey, soccer and flag football. Football programs: Fall flag football, boys and girls 9-15, competition in three age groups with finals in November. Hockey programs: DekHockey League, boys and girls 9-18, league plays during winter and spring months at Marmaduke Dek in Brighton Heights. Street PALs Program, boys and girls 8-15, street-hockey instructional programs offered in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Penguins; participants receive equipment, tickets to a Penguins game and invitations to activities throughout the season. Soccer programs: Fall soccer, boys and girls 9-18. Citywide league operates three age groups; season games are held at Olympia Field on Mt. Washington.
