28th Annual Family House Polo Match

On Sept. 10, 2011, countless sports enthusiasts and do-gooders flocked to Hartwood Acres for this year’s Family House Polo match. The daytime gathering boasted a wealth of culinary selections, plenty of shopping options and, of course, the ever-exciting match. In addition, attendees (some of whom sported fancy hats) gathered around for a 9/11 memorial service, where the Pittsburgh Police Emerald Society Pipes and Drums performed. The event benefitted Family House, a local organization that provides housing services to sick children and their families.
