6 Dogs That (Really) Need Your Love

Help us find a home for these friendly Dog of the Week alumni.

We’ll be back with new Dogs of the Week starting next Tuesday. But today, we wanted to take a moment to turn your attention to the pups we’ve featured who are still looking for your help. Of course, we’re thrilled that smiley Mojito, happy old man Bruce and budding football star Mac — among others — have all found homes. But we’ve spent time with each and every Dog of the Week, and they’re all ready to be great pets.

We’re extra invested in Midnight, our very first Dog of the Week. Midnight was the dog we practiced with, so we got to know him quite well; he’s a gentle, kind dog who wants to curl up at your feet tonight. Midnight is also the only dog we’ve featured who’s being privately fostered, so it’s difficult for potential adopters to find him. If you’re interested in this beautiful boy, please contact Sean Collier directly: scollier@pittsburghmagazine.com

While every pup we’ve interviewed has been friendly and affectionate, we’re yet to find a dog as loving as Owen. This Hello Bully pup would love to be smiling in your direction today.

The dogs we featured from Biggies Bullies, Pirate fan Nici and easygoing senior pup Ricardo, are both still available for adoption. They’re both used to living in home environments, as all Biggies Bullies dogs are fostered in homes; that means they’re both completely ready to move into your place.

Finally, our recently-featured Dogs of the Week from Angel Ridge Animal Rescue are both still looking for forever homes. Carson and Johnny Jack love to get out of their kennels and run around the Angel Ridge farm; they’d be more than happy to do the same in your backyard.

All six are great dogs, and we’re hoping each will end up home soon. If we can help or offer any more information, please get in touch; the respective shelters will also be happy to help. Let’s make sure these sweet pups are home soon!
