SWAN Day Pittsburgh 2012 is part of an international holiday called SWAN (Support Women Artists Now) Day, which is an annual event that takes place in March. This will be the fourth year that Pittsburgh's No Name Players theater group has honored the day with an event to celebrate female artists. This year's event has been inspired by women from all across Pennsylvania, as No Name Players filmed interviews with Pennsylvanian women of all ages and backgrounds to show to the artists. The interviews inspired new works for the event, but they will also be shown during an Opening Night pre-show reception.
