February is the Time for Romance at The Gateway Lodge

The Gateway Lodge will play cupid this February with its Valentine Romance Packages. Couples have their choice of weekend, spa and chef tasting offerings to complete their extravagant getaway. Offerings can be purchased separately or combined to create the ultimate in quixotic escape. All take place in the confines of one of Pennsylvania’s most dreamy resort locales- The Gateway Lodge. 

The Valentine Romance Package feature two nights stay in one of the lodge’s deluxe fireside Jacuzzi suites. Available Feb 3 to 5 and again Feb 10 to 12, this special includes breakfasts and a Saturday night candlelit chef tasting for two, complete with wine parings and live musical entertainment. Prices are $499 per couple Feb 3-5 and $599 Feb 10-12. Wine pairings available for an additional charge. 

The Moonlit Romance Package is available Feb 17-19 and 24-26. It includes two nights in a suite, breakfast both mornings and dinner one evening. Couples can also take advantage of the Spa Romance Package, which includes Elemental Nature Massages, roses, champagne and chocolates with either package. 

For couples looking for a luscious meal to enjoy this Feb 14, The Gateway Lodge presents their Valentine Tasting menu by Chef John Georgvich. The five course meal starts with a parmesan truffle and garlic herb mini flatbread, advances to butternut squash soup with chestnut honey mascarpone, and crescendos with choice of a lavish beef tenderloin, snapper, chicken or Portobello mushroom entrée. The feast’s finale is Deer Creek’s raspberry wine infused rich dark chocolate cake. Reservations are recommended. $99 per couple plus $25 per wine pairing. The regular menu will also be available.
