The Home of the Year contest is open to interior designers, builders, architects, remodelers, kitchen and bath specialists, landscape architects and garden designers. Entries will be judged by a nonpartisan, out-of-market group of experts. All judges’ decisions are final. Deadline for entries is Nov. 15, 2010. Winners will be notified by mail by Jan. 15, 2011. Check out the 2010 Home of the Year winners.

All landscapes must have been completed after Sept. 1, 2008, as must all other design work, installation and/or construction. Projects must be located in the 10-county Pittsburgh metro area: Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Green Indiana, Lawrence, Washington and Westmoreland.  Entries that have been submitted to other competitions are allowed; multiple entries are welcome.
