Penn Brewery’s North Side digs predate the local craft-beer boom by decades. Now, as new brewpubs and outposts continue to pop up all over town, Penn is opening a pair of satellite locations.

The first will serve travelers in Concourse A at Greater Pittsburgh International Airport, offering beer and a menu of food — including pierogies, sausage and other traditional favorites — daily from 5 a.m. through 8 p.m.
A taproom is also set to open at 432 First Ave., Downtown, in the First Avenue Lofts apartment building. “Our new location ... will make Penn the only brewery taproom in Downtown Pittsburgh,” says Linda Nyman, Penn Brewery’s marketing director.
The Downtown location is set to open this spring.
