Wish a Steeler a Speedy Recovery in a Big Way

An oversized get-well-soon card for Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier is waiting for your signature Downtown.

Well wishers filed in Thursday morning to the lobby of Fifth Avenue Place to sign their names on a “get well” card for Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier.

The card, which will stay on the ground floor of the building collecting signatures until Jan. 5 leaves Shazier fans plenty of space to write — it’s as big as a TV screen. Visit Pittsburgh created the card to give Shazier fans a chance to interact with the player and wish him a fast and healthy recovery.

Shazier injured his spine during the Dec. 4 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He is hospitalized at a UPMC location after having spinal stabilization surgery last week.
