After several year, and two locations, on Beaver Street, IDEAS Vintage Market in Sewickley is closing its doors next week.

According to owner Judith Minegar, the store’s last day is July 31. In the meantime, the boutique is offering half off its products, including discounts on Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan.

Resembling a whimsical “Parisienne Flea Market,” IDEAS Vintage Market opened in Sewickley in the fall of 2011. Minegar later debuted a second location in Beaver, which closed last summer. More recently, she opened a location Fifth Avenue in Shadyside.

With a motto of "repurpose, redesign, rediscover," the shop offered custom painting, color consultations and consignment pieces. IDEAS Vintage Market also furniture-painting workshops.

Check back with Nest for updates on what’s next for the space.
